Sara Schramer, M.A., LCPC


Sara is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and received her Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School after completing her undergraduate degree at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois.

Sara has training and experience in working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. Sara helps clients work towards growth in a variety of areas including anxiety, OCD, depression, bipolar, relational issues, grief, stress management, social skills, assertiveness, and adjustment/life transitions using a blend of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and a passionate strengths-based approach.

Sara has also lead several groups including a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group, stress management group, and several groups that focused on topics such as academic study skills, relational issues, anger management, social skills, spiritual development, conflict mediation, and at-risk teen issues. She also has experience working with youth in leadership and mentoring roles.

Sara enjoys presenting on a variety of topics for local school districts and churches with a passion to bring mental health awareness to others in the community.

Sara works out of the St. Charles office.
