Jennifer McKay, Psy.D., Director


Jennifer McKay is the Director of the Yorkville office of Centennial Counseling Center.  She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. She received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Malone College. 

Jennifer has provided clinical services in a variety of settings, including outpatient counseling, adult partial hospitalization programs, inpatient hospitalization programs, residential treatment facilities and has provided consultation for a variety of community-based organizations. 

Jennifer is passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Her areas of interest include life transitions, depression, anxiety, and family relationships. She has led groups for children and adolescents struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, behavior problems, and anger management. She has also led groups on stress management, and has presented in the community on topics such as effective communication, self-injury, and using activities with families to promote wellness. Jennifer conducted research on the effects of camping on childhood personal, social and spiritual development for her doctoral dissertation. 

Jennifer is committed to prevention, community development and education, and she welcomes the opportunity to speak to local school, community, and church organizations on topics related to family relationships, mental health concerns, and personal growth.

Jennifer works out of the Yorkville Office.
