Ashley Nolan is passionate about helping children, adolescents and adults in play, individual, couple and family therapy. Ashley strives to create a safe place for each client to be able to bring their pain, hurt and shame, and to come alongside them in finding healing, comfort and authenticity.
Ashley earned her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wheaton College and her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Cedarville University. Ashley is an Associate Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist.
Ashley is trained in play therapy and has worked therapeutically with children and their parents with presenting problems such as anxiety, ADHD and self-harming behavior, adults with anxiety and panic disorder, addiction issues, complex trauma (including physical, emotional and sexual abuse) and couples in conflict. Ashley has experience working in a variety of settings including a group home for adolescent girls recovering from substance abuse, a veteran center aiding military veterans with PTSD and in an intensive outpatient group working with adults with major psychiatric disorders. She has also presented on John Gottman's principles for couples at Hartgrove Hospital in Chicago, IL.
She works out of our Yorkville office.
