Patrick Morrison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been a practicing clinician since 1996. He received his graduate degree in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Patrick is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Prior to joining Centennial Counseling Center, Patrick worked at Tri-City Family Services (TCFS) in Geneva, Illinois for more than nine years. While at TCFS, he was a Senior Clinician in the Behavioral Health Division. In addition to providing counseling services, Patrick conducted assessments, provided referrals, and brief treatment to clients accessing their company-sponsored Employee Assistance Programs.
Patrick's clinical experience includes working with individuals, families, adolescents, couples and older adults. Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationships issues, and work-related issues.
Patrick has a special focus in working with older adults and/or their adult children. Older adults may become challenged by chronic illness and/or psychological issues and need guidance in making decisions about choosing the most appropriate level of care. Some of these issues include, but are not limited to, a loss of a spouse or child, adult children needing financial assistance or needing to return home, a loss of independence, or having to move from their life-long home.
Patrick works out the Yorkville Office.
