Sara is a licensed professional counselor and received her Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School after completing her undergrad at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. She is also a member of the American Counseling Association.
Sara has training and experience in working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. Sara helps clients work towards growth in a variety of areas including depression, anxiety, stress management, social skills, assertiveness, and adjustment/life transitions using a blend of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and a passionate strengths-based approach.
Sara has also lead several groups including a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group, stress management group, and several groups that focused on topics such as academic study skills, relational issues, anger management, social skills, spiritual development, conflict mediation, and at-risk teen issues. She also has experience working with youth in leadership and mentoring roles in youth groups.
Sara works out of the St. Charles office.
