Kristen Kauke, M.S.W., LCSW
Kristen Kauke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Kristen graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign—Urbana and received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago.
For 6 years, Kristen worked as a school social worker and is well versed in collaborating with schools to identify and provide interventions that help struggling students function more successfully. She has also facilitated university level-wide campus workshops and discussions on topics related to academics, relationships and self-understanding. Additionally, Kristen aided the Body Image and Eating Disorder Treatment Team that planned programs for university health care services.
While Kristen enjoys her work with kids and adolescents, her clinical experience includes therapy with clients of all ages. She is adept at working with both youth and adults to treat issues such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, grief, mood disorders, prenatal and early infant loss, and self-injury. Additionally, Kristen enjoys her work with couples and families around issues of intimacy, conflict, and communication. She presents regularly on topics such as helping children cope with divorce, and helping children cope with anxiety due to severe food allergies. She has an interest in conducting basic Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluations.
Kristen enjoys her volunteer involvement with various groups in the community. She welcomes the opportunity to speak on any of her areas of interest. Kristen works out of the St. Charles Office.
