Jennifer Pellicano, Psy.D. initially earned her Masters in Industrial/Organization Psychology from Roosevelt University. Prior to entering clinical practice, Jennifer worked at Accenture HR Services providing employee relations consultation to a variety companies across the United States. Next, Jennifer completed her Doctoral Degree at The Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Schaumburg, Illinois. She received specialized training in working with children and families, which enables her to work with individuals across the lifespan.
Dr. Pellicano is passionate about providing psychotherapeutic treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has an extensive background working in school settings, which provided the opportunity to engage with children and adolescents in both local public schools and in a specialized therapeutic day school. This experience enables Dr. Pellicano to provide comprehensive therapy, diagnostic assessments, and consultation for children and adolescents who struggle with mood disorders, behavioral disorders, social skill deficits, and ADHD. Jennifer’s educational approach to difficult life situations also allows parents to benefit from participation in treatment.
Dr. Pellicano also enjoys working with adult clients struggling with depression, anxiety, employment difficulties, relational conflict, and significant life transitions. Additional areas of interest include oppositional-defiant adolescents, anger management, anxiety, depression, self-injury and play therapy.
