Daniel Bingham, Psy.D.

 

Dr. Daniel Bingham is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois and a member of the American Psychological Association.  He received his Doctorate and Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. He received his Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from Xavier University.

 

Daniel's training has included the provision of individual, group and couples therapy, and psychological assessment.  His clinical interests include exploration of religious, spiritual, and existential dimensions of personhood and he received specialized training in addressing these components at the Danielsen Institute at Boston University.

 

Daniel has provided clinical services in a variety of settings. He has considerable experience working with long-standing depression and anxiety and addressing personality issues that can interfere with our ability to generate satisfying relationships.  

 

Daniel has taught courses in Spiritual Discernment & Differential Diagnosis, Substance Abuse and Counseling & Psychotherapy.  In addition, he has led groups utilizing a wide range of therapeutic modalities.  He enjoys consulting with community organizations and welcomes future opportunities to speak with school, community, and religious organizations regarding mental health or relationship issues. Daniel works out of the Yorkville office.
