Anne Barsch is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families, through life's struggles and transitions. She works with clients to provide new tools for communicating more effectively and improving relationships, to support and encourage individual growth, and to help individuals work on healing past hurts.
Anne obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development Family Studies at the University of Wisconsin—Stout and a Master of Arts degree in Human Development: Family Life Education at St. Mary's University of Minnesota. As a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists, Anne stays connected with current trends and new research in the field of marriage and family therapy.
Anne brings a diverse background of experience, working with college students in both public and private settings as a Student Affairs Administrator for 8 years prior to counseling. Additionally, she facilitated groups for Rebuilding Marriages and provided Premarital Counseling.
Areas of interest include Couple Counseling, Parenting and Family Issues, Complicated Grief, and Trauma Recovery. Additional interests include work with teens and young adults including self-injury and substance abuse. Anne works out of the Sandwich office.
